Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the AMP Tiles website (amptiles.com.au) and to quotes, orders and services supplied by AMP Tiles Pty Ltd (ABN 14690181858), trading as AMP Tiles ("AMP Tiles", "we", "us", "our"). By using our website or buying from us, you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are an estimate based on the information you give us and are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices are in Australian dollars and, unless stated otherwise, include GST. We may correct pricing errors at any time. Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed.

2. Orders and payment

An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing and receive the payment or deposit required. Payment terms for trade accounts are as agreed in writing. Title to goods does not pass until payment is received in full.

3. Product samples, colour and shade variation

Tiles, stone and timber are natural or manufactured products that vary in colour, shade, texture and size between batches. Images on our website and samples are a guide only. We recommend viewing products in our showroom and ordering from a single batch. Please order enough material, including an allowance for cutting and wastage, as we cannot always match a later batch.

4. Tile calculator

Our tile calculator provides an estimate only. You remain responsible for confirming measurements and quantities before ordering.

5. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Please check goods on delivery and notify us of any visible damage or shortages within 48 hours. Someone must be available to receive the goods and safe access must be provided.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellations

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded by these terms. Because many products are cut, special-ordered or made to order, we may not accept change-of-mind returns or cancellations for those items. Where we do accept a return of unused goods in original condition, a restocking fee may apply. Clearance items are sold as is unless faulty.

7. Warranty and faulty goods

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Manufacturer warranties may also apply. Tiles must be inspected before installation, and goods that are installed are taken to have been accepted as suitable. Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, or lack of maintenance.

8. Installation services

Installation services are provided following an agreed quote. Final pricing may vary if site conditions, measurements or the scope of work differ from what was quoted. You must provide safe access and a suitably prepared substrate unless otherwise agreed.

9. Website use

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, or submit false or misleading information. Content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to AMP Tiles or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, where permitted, to resupplying the goods or services or paying the cost of doing so.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page.
